That doesn’t mean you can continuously listen for 44 hours on the earbuds themselves. JBL rates the earbuds for up to 11 hours with ANC off, while the charging case provides the additional battery needed to reach the claimed 44-hour total. With ANC enabled, the official rating drops to up to 8 hours, and with True Adaptive ANC enabled it can be up to 7 hours.

That’s a much more useful way to understand the battery specification.

What Makes the JBL Tour Pro 3 Different?

There are plenty of premium TWS earbuds with ANC, good microphones and companion apps.

The Tour Pro 3 tries to stand apart with one particular feature:

Another feature that makes the Tour Pro 3 different from ordinary earbuds is Personi-Fi 3.0.

This is a strong battery specification.

But again, the conditions matter.

You won’t get 44 hours continuously from the earbuds.

Think of it like this:

If you get roughly 8 hours from the earbuds with ANC enabled, you can put them back into the case when they are low and recharge them from the case.

That’s how the total figure reaches the advertised maximum.

Fast Charging

The Tour Pro 3 also supports speed charging.

JBL says a 10-minute charge can provide up to 3 hours of playback, depending on usage conditions. The earbuds and case take around two hours to fully charge from empty according to JBL’s specifications.
